St Andrews Hospice Capital Appeal – Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities

Sunday 11th November – Grand Central Hotel, Sunday in the City Ladies Lunch.

11am – approx 4pm

We’re looking for support to host a stall with our goods to sell to the attendees and help with general set up.

Sunday 18th November – B&Q Coatbridge

2 hour slot between 10.30am – 4.30pm

In 2’s you’ll be at the exit to store with a pop up, leaflets and a collection can – we would ask you can commit to at least 2 hours please.

Friday 30th November – Glasgow Airport

5.30am start.

The Robertson Trust – Main and Major (revenue and capital)

The Robertson Trust’s Open Awards Programme provides around £16M in awards each year to organisations working in Scotland.  They are a match funder (this means they do not fully fund projects or activities) and can consider both Revenue and Capital requests for funding.

The aim of the fund has remained similar: to fund activity that helps children and young people aged between eight and 24 years of age to be more confident and play an active part in realising their own potential. This free event for Chairs and Trustees of Third Sector Boards in Lanarkshire explores the impact on sustainability and growth of having the right skills mix at Board level. In a first for Lanarkshire, this event pulls together expertise and advice from across a range of national providers to help you navigate through the complex landscape of finding new Board members.

CLIC Sargent is the UK’s leading cancer charity for children, young people and their families. Our care teams have been providing specialist support across the UK for years. We know that for young lives, when the doctor says cancer, normal life stops. Cancer affects every part of life – relationships, confidence, money, school, work.  CLIC Sargent care teams will fight tirelessly to limit the damage cancer causes. They will listen, and ask the right questions, so that they can provide the right support, tailored to each young person and family.
